Every Saturday at 3:pm @ Liberty park, on the North West Side, hoopers can gather to play together. This is a chance to have fun in the sun with some fellow hoopers. Come at any level and learn by watching each other. It is such a great work out and you are motivated by each other.
This is s great opportunity for those who teach classes and sell hoops as passers by will ask how they can get started and where to get hoops. Make sure your hoops are priced at an even price so the possibilities of someone having the money on them is better. Example: $35. instead of $32.50.
I got this idea from my experience in Santa Barbara. It is every Wednesday and it is how I bought my first hoop and got started. It was so fun. The woman who sold me my hoop told me how to do a basic pump and I played in the park with my new friends and decided to take my first class with another woman who was giving out her schedule.
So come on down to let go and have some fun! Bring your extra hoops for people jumping right in.
