Experienced racial harassment there! This place is ridiculous! This blond server boy made fun of my "Japanese accent" and wanted me to repeat a certain word over and over again and was actually , yes, actually LAUGHING AT ME when he did so.I was born and raised in Salt Lake and NOBODY had EVER made fun of my "accent". Called at least 10 times trying to make a formal customer complaint to the manager or owner but they were NEVER available and HING UP on me.Server and people answering the phone were rude. This place is also very dirty- just look at the dirty floor with used plates and chopsticks all over and you will know. Making fun of a "Japanese accent" in a Japanese restaurant? They should know better than that!! WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN and have already told all my friends not to go again! - pat , posted 06/01/08 |

This is hands down the best Sushi I've had since I left california. And only one place in Cali beats Koko consistantly. The fish is always fresh, and the hand rolls are a bargin at under 3 dollars each. My favorite is the Yellow Tail, but a quick "what's good?" to Toku (the sushi chef) willget you a wealth of information. Koko kitchen is family owned and operated.
