Good Food, Good People, Good Idea
I have been dining at One World regularly for lunch (when I don't bring my own - so probably at least twice monthly) for about 2 years - i.m.o. the food is always good. I can think of one time when one dish didn't suit my preference - that's one dish out of several on the plate - so I still had an excellent lunch... otherwise, it's all good. I'd call it food that's good in every way - fresh, healthy, local, and dedicated to the well being of everyone (not to mention that is taste delicious) . - , posted 08/09/07

Cooked with Love
This place is a diamond in the rough! Destined to become a trend in gastronomy! An experimentation in love and the art of food, everyone should indulge themselves in experiencing the plethora of healthy dishes served and the unified ambiance. Always a place to meet a friendly face or take a time out of the fast paced world. Its like eating at home again! - online--Moonfairy++ , posted 08/09/06

Compassion and profit can work together
If you havn't seen it you must go and take everyone you know. It tells the world SLC has ideas that can make the world a better place, while making a buck. Who knew, well these people did.
So go have a great meal, meet great people, and feel good about yourself all in one! - Cybertwigit , posted 08/01/06

Everybody Eats
"The goal of the One World Everybody Eats foundation is to eliminate world hunger. We will do this by endeavoring to eliminate waste in the food industry, serve all organic food that is free of pesticides and antibiotics and offer a hand up volunteer program rather than a hand out. We believe in strenghtening and preserving our communities."

With no set menu, the food here is sometimes better one day than the next but I can honestly say that I've never had a truly bad experience here.

I often volunteer here with my boyfriend and we both love the atmosphere and the company of others volunteers and regular staff.

And the soups are ALWAYS amazing! - Kym , posted 07/12/06

Gross food, great ethics.
I love the idea behind the cafe, but I always feel like I'm taking a gamble when I eat there. Things look good, but the flavors within the same dish often don't match. I don't like having to swallow my food as fast as I can to avoid tasting it.
I know there is a way to do yummy and compassionate at the same time. - Gina , posted 05/18/06

Great ethics, but not always the best food
I really love the ethics behind this business. There is no set menu or prices - just an honor system and the idea that everyone is deserving of healthy, organic food. I generally get a lot of good vegan food here, but on occassion they're lacking in the flavor department and usually don't have any vegan desserts amongst a slew of non-vegan ones. Besides these two snags, it's a great place. - Unsubscribed , posted 05/14/06

Feed the world
It doesn't matter if you have one penny, or $100.00, you can eat here. The food is veg friendly. The mission is to feed all those who hunger. Love this place. Drop in. - Unsubscribed , posted 11/23/05

Gotta be the Everything cookies.
If you want good, organic, healthy home cooking but don't want to do all the work yourself, this is the place.
Different dishes offered everyday. Stop by at least and try the Everything cookies, AMAZING. Also has beautiful themed rooms to dine in. - Succubus of the D... , posted 11/21/05

My favorite for organic food
Awesome all organic food: soups, cold dishes, hot dishes, dessert, different every day! Pay what you think is fair, one of my favorite places in Salt Lake! :-) - Edward , posted 09/25/05
