Guerrilla organics

Since much of our clientele will be out of the Bay Area during the last week in August, Guerrilla Organics is again offering free delivery to our clients on the Playa. All deliveries will be made to a central location (alQmy Camp; 7:30 and Eager) for pick up from dawn to dusk on Thursday, August 31. All unclaimed produce will be gifted to the community on Friday. All boxes will contain succulent fruits and vegetables ideal for the desert — no preferences for this week. There will only be one size box delivered: Fat Box: $50.

Our goal in preparing the Burning Box is to deliver gorgeous organic produce which will not immediately wilt, yet which one could not easily bring oneself. Our supposed box contents (subject to availability) include: 1 large watermelon, baby coconuts, bananas, mangos, melons, nectarines, citrus, tomatoes, avocados, beets, carrots, cucumbers, broccoli, hardy lettuce, greens and herbs.

Because the waxed cardboard boxes we customarily use to deliver produce are not playa-friendly (and should not be burned) the contents of each box will be delivered in paper shopping bags.

There is no vending at Burning Man. We will not be selling anything on the Playa. We are a guerrilla produce collective delivering community goods to our members.

Mark will be performing dawn ragas on the sitar at Center Camp Cafe Friday and Saturday mornings.
